
I want to begin my blog with a very special shout out to my Aunt Dee who is faithfully following along and encouraging me as I lose weight. She is losing weight herself and doing a fantastic job of being a role model for me. Today is her BIRTHDAY!! Happy BIrthday to one of the greatest women I know. I love you, Aunt Dee!!
As for me, today,I could say: "I'm sick" . . . blah blah, blah, but I have decided to stop making excuses. This cold has really kicked me in the *behind* and I am STILL hitting the gym and eating healthy in moderation, even though daddy always said "feed a cold". . .
I fed my cold chicken noodle soup (whole can 150 cals) and a hot toddy last night. It felt good at the time, but I woke up all congested and quite infected, so I think I will be hitting urgent care after work tonight.
I went to the gym yesterday and did 30 minutes on the elliptical which burned 251 calories. I took it easy on myself, but still got in my minimum 30 minutes. I plan to hit the gym for about an hour today, still not pushing too hard.
Eating plans for the day: ww toast with nut butter for breakfast, lean cuisine and salad for lunch, and eat out somewhere for dinner after the urgent care.
