
Yesterday, my husband and I went out to eat with some friends to a Chinese buffet. I stayed away from all fried foods. I ate steamed crab legs, peel and eat shrimp, veggies ad fruits, and a very small helping of my favorite coconut shrimp which is pure sugar and fat with a tad of shrimp. I exceeded my calorie limit there, but was proud that I refrained from some of my favorite fried dishes. Normally I would have thrown all cares to the wind and just eaten my heart out, but I was more disciplined.
Today, a friend is coming to visit and wants to order a pizza (my favorite pizza). I plan to limit myself to one piece and eat a large salad (I like salad) with it . . .
I am so thrilled that Katie from the "Runs for Cookies" blog (that motivated me to create my own blog) e-mailed me back yesterday! She says she is willing to follow my blog. She is an amazing young woman who has lost over 100 lbs and has even appeared on the Dr. Oz show.
